Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have an admirable marriage and relationship. They share two kids.
There is nothing greater than being in a relationship with someone who considers you precious and irreplaceable. It shows how much they value your company and your love. Nicole Kidman was fortunate to fall in love with such a man. Her husband, Keith Urban is head-over-heels for her.
Kidman celebrated her 53rd birthday and her husband took to social media to wish her a very joyful birthday. Not only did he wish her but he also appreciated her parents for being the reason for her birth. "WHAT A GIFT JANELLE AND ANTONY KIDMAN BROUGHT INTO THE WORLD ON THIS DAY !!! Happy Birthday Babygirl," wrote the singer, along with a picture of Kidman hiding behind her birthday balloons, according to People.
It is no doubt that the singer considers his partner to be a blessing in his life. Kidman met Urban in 2005 after her relationship with Tom Cruise left her in despair and loneliness. She was an admired and accomplished actress but her personal life did not share any of the joy she had in her professional life.
"I was holding a gold statue and I was the loneliest I'd ever been," said the actress, alluding to her Oscar win in 2003, according to Insider. But, her life changed upside down after meeting the singer at the G'Day USA gala. Their initial meeting, however, did not pave the way for a romance immediately.
About four months after meeting each other, the singer decided to give a call to Kidman, who was not expecting it at the time. That call made way for friendship and love. Just six months into getting to know each other, Kidman knew Urban was her man. She recalled how he made the efforts to appear at her home at 5 a.m. on her birthday. “It was my [38th] birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York. That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry,'" said Kidman, according to People. Ever since that day, Kidman has never looked back.
“I believed by that point he was the love of my life. Maybe that’s because I am deeply romantic, or I’m an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, 'Oh, okay, here he is'," said the actress.
A year later, Urban and Kidman tied the knot and began their life together. Today, the couple share two beautiful daughters. Over the years, Urban stood by his wife and helped her battle all the emotional struggles.
"She said early on that she wanted to be brave with me. I feel there was something else at work, bringing us together and then just continuing to watch over us," recalled Urban, according to People. He also added that sharing his wife with her makes him feel like a better man.
"We know every part of [our relationship] because we’ve built it. Just the two of us. It’s beautiful...Nicole listened to her heart and did what she felt was the right thing to do. To see that kind of love in action, that’s very moving and deeply inspiring and just makes me want to be a better man."
Urban's appreciation for his wife is also seen through his actions. Urban, who appeared at the 62nd Grammy Awards with his woman by his side said he was going to rush home because his wife was ill.
He stated, "My wife is home with the flu. A lot of that going around. "She’s home with our girls tonight. I’m heading home ASAP," according to People. The genuine words that came from his heart showed that the only thing he cared about even in the midst of all the glitz and lam was his ill wife at home.
On one occasion, he opened up and said, "I could sum up Nic as a wife, mother, and human being in three words: She’s all heart!”
