Musical Legend Elvis Presley Was Allegedly A Pedophile And He Sexually Assaulted His Wife: Book

The singer was "obsessed with virginity" according to a book titled "Elvis Presley: A Southern Life," by Joel Williamson.

Trigger Warning: The following story contains details of sexual assault, pedophilia, and child abuse which might be disturbing for readers.

According to the biography, Elvis Presley: A Southern Life, Elvis Presley was a pedophile who had lovers as young as 14 while he was on tour at the age of 22. The rock 'n roll legend was accompanied by three 14-year-old girls "for pillow fights, tickling, kissing and cuddling," as per the author, Joel Williamson. Williamson claims that when the musician was 19 years old, he cheated on his 15-year-old girlfriend, Dixie Locke, before calling her in a panic while he was driving to the hospital after the condom broke, reports Vice News. Between early 1953 and October 1955, Dixie and Elvis were dating. According to reports, Elvis dated several underage ladies, including his wife Priscilla. When she was just 14, the couple met in Bad Nauheim, Germany, during his military service.

Before he left for the US, they dated for six months. Priscilla claims in her memoir, Elvis and Me, that Elvis had non-penetrative sex with her on their first night and up to the time they got married. Williamson wrote in his book, "It was as if Priscilla's virginity was another thing that Elvis strangely and sorely needed to maintain." According to Williamson, Elvis' desire for bedtime company grew after the death of his mother Gladys in 1958, per The Tribune. He writes in the book, "There had been a river of sex before, now there was a flood." Elvis required a lady or girl in bed every night from 1958 till his death in 1977. Williamson asserts that in August 1970, Elvis slept with two 26-year-old virgins because he was "obsessed with virginity."

However, the claim that Elvis and Priscilla did not engage in penetrative sex until their wedding night has been disputed, notably by Suzanne Finstad, the author of Child Bride: The Untold Story of Priscilla Beaulieu Presley. Elvis would invite other ladies into their bedroom after they got married in 1967, watch and film his wife with them, and occasionally partake in it as well. It is unknown if Priscilla consented to this. Williamson claims that the famed singer also set up a two-way mirror at his Palm Springs house with Priscilla so he could covertly see couples having sex when he hosted extravagant parties with showgirls there.

In her book, Finstad claims that after having an affair with another person, Priscilla told Elvis about it. He became enraged and sexually assaulted her when she arrived in Memphis to tell him she was no longer in love with him and that they were parting. He reportedly told her, "This is how a real man makes love to his woman." The couple was divorced in 1973 after their 1972 separation. The book further added, "Thus, the love affair between Elvis and Priscilla ended, ignominiously, with spousal rape." According to Albert Goldman's 1981 biography, Elvis's career, and eventually his life, were put to an end by drug abuse, which rendered him extremely ill to the point that he required diapers. He passed away in 1977 at the age of 42 while sitting on a toilet, wearing gold silk pajamas, in Graceland, where another one of his lovers, Ginger Alden, discovered his body.
