Meghan Markle's Father Set To Spill Secrets In A Tell-All Documentary About Their Lives

Thomas Markle and Meghan's relationship is broken beyond repair. He has not even seen his grandson Archie.

Meghan Markle and her father Thomas Markle have had an estranged relationship over the past couple of years. Recently, Thomas stated that he is making a documentary film about himself and his life with Meghan.

According to The Sun, Thomas who is an award-winning lighting director is working with a cinematographer to complete the film by the end of this year. “It begins with my life, my family, my love of theatre and television, and how I got there," said Thomas. He added, "Then my life with Meghan, growing up, her school days until she went off to college, and when her career began. We had a good life together, up through her first marriage and her move to Canada. Then a new story begins! It’s kind of like ‘What happened to my baby girl’.”

Thomas also claimed that the documentary would comprise of unseen home footage videos of Meghan. "My documentary will have some new videos and my favorite photo of my ‘baby girl’ and we try to figure out what went wrong. I think we will do a good job," said Thomas.

Previously, the 76-year-old had been part of a documentary on Channel 5. Speaking of it, Thomas said, "It was not edited in the correct order, dates were wrong, and it had too much generic public domain film added."

He affirmed that his film would give a "complete picture" of their life. Thomas has had a 50-year career in TV. He has won two Emmy Awards for his contributions to the US soap opera General Hospital

Meanwhile, Thomas has not had a good relationship with Meghan since her marriage to Prince Harry. Their relationship is so broken that he only came to know of his daughter's pregnancy through the radio. Besides, he has not even met his grandson Archie. Additionally, the father-daughter duo is in the midst of a legal battle after a letter sent to him by Meghan was leaked to the media.

According to NZ Herald, Thomas claimed that his relationship with Meghan was beyond repair due to the "trashy" things she and her husband said about him.

The news of the new documentary also comes after the Duchess signed a £112million Netflix deal to produce films with Prince Harry. The royal couple said that they were keen on making content which "informs but also gives hope." Talking about their new venture, the duo said, "As new parents, making inspirational film programming is also important to us." The couple is most likely to make an appearance in their documentaries despite Meghan ruling out her return to acting in the past, according to Metro
