The wedding was intimate with only 50 guests including her co-stars from 'Full House'.
On Saturday evening, Jodie Sweetin married her five-year partner, clinical social worker Mescal Wasilewski, in a private ceremony at a Malibu residence attended by her two kids and Full House castmates. The guests included John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure and other co-stars from Full House, reports PEOPLE. The couple got engaged in January and planned a beautiful July wedding.
She said, "I know I have the right partner for the rest of whatever life brings me. And I couldn't be more grateful." She walked down the aisle with her father Sam, while her kids—Zoie, 14, and Beatrix, 11—stood by her as she and Wasilewski exchanged personalized vows and Kay Jewelers rings. She wore a beautiful white gown from Lili Bridals.
Wasilewski picked a white gold ring, while Sweetin chose a Neil Lane 1/3ct diamond contour wedding ring. The couple also gave her daughters identical yellow gold and diamond Kay Jewelers Circle of Gratitude necklaces to commemorate the union of their families.
Following the outdoor ceremony, the 50 guests dined on tacos and a guacamole bar served by Border Grill. Big Sugar Bakeshop provided the gathering with little cake and dessert bits.
Before this wedding, which is Sweetin's fourth marriage, she has been married to Morty Coyle, Cody Herpin, and Shaun Holguin in the past. She is well recognized for her role as Stephanie Tanner on Full House from 1987 to 1995 and Fuller House from 2016 to 20, per The Hollywood Reporter. She said, "I didn't want it to be fussy. The look is very organic and natural. It's just about good food and good friends — and twinkle lights!"
Sweetin and Wasilewski met through common acquaintances and began dating long-distance in 2017 until he relocated to L.A. in 2020. "All the pieces just fell into place," she said.
She adds, "Mescal makes me feel absolutely comfortable and secure to shine as bright as I need to. He steps up and shows up for my girls. And we harmonize so well. He's really the best teammate I could ask for."
In January, right before her 40th birthday, the pair announced their engagement on Instagram. She shared a quote by Maya Angelou in the caption, "In all the world there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world there is no love for you like mine."
She added, "I love you Mescal, for always. You’re my person. I can’t wait to see the life that lies ahead for us."
