She further joked that she also won't remove all her makeup as her husband still has to look at her
Dolly Parton has revealed that she remains "dolled up" even when she sleeps because she wants to be ready incase there is an earthquake. The 75-year-old explained that in case there is an emergency, she would have to leave her house immediatly and she wouldn't want anyone to see her unkept.
"I do all my beauty work and cleaning my face in the morning because I usually try to keep my makeup on at night. Because I never know if there’s going to be an earthquake or a tornado or a storm and I’m going to have to go out in the middle of the night!" she told WSJ Magazine. She further joked that she also won't remove all her makeup as her 'poor' husband still has to look at her. "I don’t like to go home and just tear down completely, because my poor husband has to look at me. And in the morning when I get up I start all over again, put on my makeup and then touch it up through the day," she explained, according to the Mirror.
The singer further revealed that she still prefers to use "cheap" makeup that she had used for decades. She goes to lengths to buy her products as many of them cannot be found easily these days. Speaking of her hair, the singer joked that she has never had a bad hair day as she has a great variety of wigs. Parton said that her experiences at the pentecostal church while growing up served as an inspiration for creating her own "rejoicing exercises" whish helps her maintain her physical and mental fitness. She revealed that she is making music to go along with exercises that people of all abilities can do, reported Mirror.
Dolly had previously joked that while music makes her happy, botox injections were the actual reason she always walked around with a big smile on her face. The star has been transparent about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone to maintain her appearance.
