Little Boy Loses Dad In Crowd So People Chant and Sing Father's Name To Reunite Them In Wholesome Video

A video, taken by someone in the crowd, captured the entire incident and left viewers online touched by the act of kindness of the people around Cruz.

Everyone has experienced getting lost as a kid at least once in their lifetime. The panic that a kid feels when they find themselves left alone on a busy street or in a shop is a terrifying experience for the child and the parent. Realizing the need of the situation, a crowd came to the help of a little boy called Juan Cruz who had gotten lost at Plaza Dorrego in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When Cruz realized he had lost his way, he started crying, and turned to a man to explain that he was lost and couldn't find his father in the crowd, reported MyModernMet.

A video, taken by someone in the crowd, captured the entire incident and left viewers online touched by the act of kindness of the people around Cruz. As soon as the man understood that the boy was lost, Cruz was placed on the shoulders of the tallest man in the crowd. The crowd around started clapping to bring attention to him, a band started playing to help him better, and the man who was carrying Cruz also started clapping.

Soon, the crowd started calling out Cruz's dad by his name out loud, "Eduardo! Eduardo!" Minutes later, Eduardo came rushing to his son and wrapped him in a warm and protective hug as Cruz kept sobbing.

According to Argentine customs, this is one of the most effective ways of locating a lost child's parents and it has been a technique in the country for a long time. It ensures that the child can feel secure seeking help from others and it builds a sense of trust within the child, even if they are approaching strangers.

The video went viral and earned almost 308.4k likes and 42.7k retweets on Twitter, with many viewers saying they were touched by the crowd's efforts in helping the little kid. The incident was talked about on Reddit where several users pointed out that this was a common practice in Argentina. Some even added that they had witnessed it firsthand.

The incident was mentioned under the tag HumanBeingBros on Reddit, where one of the users shared her experience of getting lost as a child and being helped by a lady in a similar way.

A Reddit user from the United States was so moved by the gesture that she wished this technique would be adopted in the U.S as well, noting how it would help little kids better and ease the process for parents than calling the police and waiting to hear back from them.
