33-Year-Old Mother Of 12 Has Been Pregnant For 17 Years

Britni Church gave birth to her first child at age 16 in 2004.

Talk about the Cheaper By The Dozen movie coming to life! A Kansas mother-of-12 has been pregnant almost every year since she gave birth to her first child in 2004 at the age of 16. Britni Church's 12 children (five girls and seven boys) range in age from 11 months to 17 years. Church and her husband, Chris, 30, share Silas, 7, Christopher Jr. 5, 3-year-old triplets Oliver, Asher and Abel, and Rowyn, 11 months. She is also a mother to Crizman, 17, Jordan, 16, Caleb, 14, Jace, 13, Cadence, 12, and Jesalyn, 10, from previous relationships. “I think I'm done,” Church told TODAY Parents jokingly.

Church, who is an influencer and chronicles her life on TikTok, said people are fascinated by big families. The account she created in 2019, has more than 1.8 million followers. “A lot of people assume we’re on welfare—we’re not,” Church said. “I get a lot of questions like, ‘Are you Catholic? Are you religious?’ I’m Pentecostal, but that has nothing to do why I have so many.” She admitted she loves having a big family and doesn't mind adding more to her brood. “We are happiest when we’re all together,” she said. “We’ve got a big waterslide and we’ve been having cookouts and sitting around the fire pit. Life is good.”

It's hard not to notice such a large family and Church admitted she does get a lot of judgement from people around. Previously the mom told Mercury News, per The New York Post, that they "get lots of stares when we go out as a family." But that doesn't matter to her. She adores her family to the moon and back. But she does have a limit to how many more family members she'll bring into the world. “I don’t think I would ever have more than 15 kids but, then again, I never thought I’d have 11 kids.” She admitted that she would stop if her children objected. “We’d love to get some animals too,” she shared. “Maybe two dogs and a cat would be a good start.” The super mom also had some advice for those who had something to say about her unique brood. “Instead of judging another mom for being different, try to celebrate that difference,” she told CafeMom. “Especially online. Find something kind to say. Or just refrain from hurtful words. Don’t be so quick to judge someone who isn’t exactly like you.”
